Thursday, December 13th, ProRehab Staff will be at HHHS to do functional movement screening on our football athletes in grades 9-11. Athletes should report to the Red gym at 3:00 in shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes. ProRehab staff will do the screening on athletes who are currently in a winter sport first, so that they can leave for practice/pre-game activities. Athletes who are not in a winter sport will be screened next, beginning with juniors, then sophomores, then freshmen. The purpose of functional movement screening is to identify any deficiencies in an athletes flexibility or muscular development which may eventually cause injury. The athlete will be given exercises to do that will help correct identified deficiencies. This is a free service that will help benefit the health and future performance of football athletes. Football athletes in grades 9-11 should make every effort to attend. Please see Coach Wilk if you cannot attend.
