QUANTITIVE REASONING COURSES
For the Core 40, Academic Honors and Technical Honors
Diplomas, students must take a mathematics course or a quantitative reasoning course each year they are enrolled in high school. For
the General Diploma, students must earn two credits in a mathematics course or
a quantitative reasoning course during their junior or senior year. *Other than the
occasional exception, Economics is taken by all seniors and therefore fulfills
this requirement. QR courses

ADVANCED PLACEMENT
(AP) COURSES
Advanced Placement (AP) tests
are offered to high school students through the College Board. Students are
able to earn college credit and/or course equivalencies with a sufficient score
on an AP exam. Students take AP classes to prepare for the exams, as well as to
earn high school credit. All two and four-year Indiana public colleges and
universities award college credit that counts toward a degree for scores of 3
or higher. More information, click here. AP
