Ivy Tech Community College CompTIA A+ Program

For students right out of high school who may be interested in studying computers, but need additional financial assistance, Ivy Tech Community College has a special program tailored just for them. The CompTIA A+ program is a free certificate that provides students with a Computer Systems and Repair education that can be applied directly to the workforce in less than three semesters. This type of certificate can allow students to work in jobs such as the “Geek-Squad” for Best Buy and at other technology organizations.

The goal of the CompTIA A+ certificate program is to give students who may not have the financial means to get an education, a credential that is in high demand in the state of Indiana. This certificate program even provides wraparound services for those who may have obstacles such as transportation and childcare standing in their way of achieving a workforce credential.

Participants in the program have an opportunity to complete an internship with a technology organization – providing opportunity for potential employment upon completion of the program. For more information, visit our webpage
