All seniors need to meet in the cafeteria during resource period on Friday.

 

If any high school student is interested in traveling to Scotland and Ireland in June of 2020, Ms. Lauck is holding an informational meeting for you and your parents in her classroom on Wednesday, September 26, at 5:30pm. Email Ms. Lauck at clauck@nspencer.k12,in.us to let her know if you plan to attend or if you just want more information!

 

STUDENTS: The SAT is given at HH on Saturday, November 3. The deadline to register is October 5.  Go to www.collegeboard.com  Generally, the SAT test is for College Bound juniors and seniors. Ask a counselor if questions.

 

Parents and community members are invited to attend an open house at Heritage Hills Middle/High School in conjunction with parent-teacher conferences today 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. CDT.  

 

School pictures are Wednesday September 26.

 

Book Fair:  Our annual Book Fair is now open in the Library until Friday Sept. 28.  We will also be open for Parent Teacher Conferences both evenings. Come in and see what all we have to offer.

Spencer County Special Olympics is going to be back in business!!  There will be two meetings held where athletes can learn more, people can sign-up to volunteer or just get general information.

VUJC to host Regional College Fair Oct. 1, 2018 

Vincennes University Jasper Campus will host its Regional College Fair from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.CST Monday, Oct. 1, 2018 at the Ruxer Center, offering an opportunity for students and parents to gather information from nearly 30 colleges in just one evening. A special session on college financial aid will be offered at 6:30 p.m. CST.  Both events are FREE and high school students and their parents are invited to attend. It will give you a chance to meet with college representatives to discuss entrance requirements, campus life, application deadlines, majors and financial aid programs available at their respective institutions. College Applications--We encourage students to apply early! Check out this website for a list of colleges and how much their applications fees are. It also lists which applications are free and has links to admissions websites. There is also a link to a College Costs Estimator to estimate your financial aid package at Indiana Colleges!

Are you a Junior interested in attending The University of IndianapolisThe Lugar Symposium, designed to expose some of the best and brightest young minds in Indiana—our future leaders—to current global issues, is an opportunity for students. It is held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the University of Indianapolis. If you are an interested Junior, stop by the Guidance Office to sign up.  Only 3 students can be selected.
