Saturday night only, the high school drama department will be presenting a Neil Simon classic, "Proposals".  This play is a bit different in that there are faculty members and students in this show.  Mr. Mauck, Mrs. Staffled, Shane Denu and Mrs. Fortune will be in the show with Evan Reisz, Jordan Kemp, Emma Hannebutt, Christopher Hassfurther and Elijah Miller.  The show will begin Saturday, May 20th at 7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium.  Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults.  Hope to see you there!

Anyone interested in diving next season should meet in Mr. Ayer's room Monday morning, 5/22, at 7:40 AM.

All library books are due by Friday, May 19. Please return your library book to avoid paying fines.

A public fishing tournament will be held this weekend. FFA is sponsoring a fishing derby open to the public.  Participants may form teams of 1 to 4 members.  Prizes will be awarded for the biggest bass, catfish and pan fish as well as greatest number caught and greatest weight of your top 5.  You may fish at your favorite spot starting at Midnight until 2:00 check-in located behind the Agriculture shop.  There is a $5 fee to participate per team member.

FFA Spring Party will be held this Friday at 5:00 - FFA members should sign up and come close out the year with some good food, corn hole, slip-n-slide kick ball and more!  Sign up on the Google form sent to you.

All Seniors should stop by Mrs. Hawkins office and pick up a copy of their immunizations before the end of school.

To incoming AP Language and Composition students: Make sure you get the summer reading assignment from Ms. Lauck or Ms. Gunselman before you leave for summer break. There will be major consequences to your grade if you do not complete this assignment before the first day of school, and claiming ignorance will not be an excuse.

Hoosier National Forest, Spencer County Soil and Water, Perry County Soil and Water, and other organizations are sponsoring a “Let’s go Hunting" event on June 24th from9:00-1:00 at Hoosier National Forest Tipsaw Lake.   For more information stop by the office. 

Anyone taking summer PE will need to have a uniform.  The last day to purchase one from the bookstore will be Friday May 19th.

GIRLS- If you attended the Project LEAD Conference at VU Jasper Center on March 8th, we have the newest Girls LEAD book by Julie Carrier, a speaker at the conference, here for YOU!  It is FREE! Stop by the table during lunch today to pick up your copy.  

Attention Sophomores: Consider attending the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership program. HOBY ambassadors have strong leadership potential. The program is for students who have strong skills in communication, critical/creative thinking, decision-making, courage to speak out, and participation in community service.  It is a prestigious program that involves tenth graders across the country. It can be an amazing educational and personal experience. HOBY will be held at the University of Indianapolis June 8-11. The $195 fee is already paid - so this opportunity is free! Anderson Woods Summer Camp has a summer employment opportunity.  They are needing to fill counselor positions for the season.  Must be at least 16 years old.
