University of Evansville The Office of Religious Life at the University of Evansville is hosting Open Table, a weeklong immersion experience for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, July 15 – 22, 2018. Students will stay in the residence halls on campus, take field trips, participate in theology classes, worship, and dialogue with their peers in small groups. Time and space will be given to thinking and talking about the dramatic story of the Christian tradition, how Christians relate to the other Abrahamic traditions, and how God calls us into the world to make a difference in the lives of others.  Deadline is June 1, 2018. Open Table website.  https://www.evansville.edu/opentable

ATTENTION STUDENTS! Any final questions or concerns about class schedules need to be addressed THIS WEEK. Students will be able to see their schedule on Harmony in early August, after classes are balanced and final schedules are locked in. Students who fail a class will need to work with a counselor to adjust the fall schedule if needed. It is urgent that students check their school email through early June in order to address these scheduling issues. Class requests will NOT be changed over the summer. Take care of business this week. THANK YOU FOR BEING RESPONSIBLE!!

Students who have enrolled in the Health Science Education (HOSA) class at Tell City next year needs to attend a quick meeting this Friday, May 25 in the FACS classroom #44 at 7:45 sharp. You will meet the instructor and receive important information and instructions. See Mrs. Wilmes if questions.

Any student who is interested in running High School Cross country should attend a meeting in Mr. Denning's room on Wednesday May 23 at 7:30.  If you are unable to attend please see Mr. Denning, Mr. Ayer or Ms. Hopf before the end of the school year.

Indianapolis Colts Fan Fest   May 23  5-7pm at Memorial Gym Malik Hooker and TY Hilton as well as colts cheerleaders will be in attendance. We ask that fans line our 4th street dressed in colts gear and follow the buses to the gym for autographs, photos, live music, free Colts giveaways, Colts interactive inflatables, mobile Colts Pro Shop, test your skills in the Play 60 Zone, and Colts in Motion, the teams traveling museum. We hope to see everyone there.

Seniors, if you wish to purchase your Chromebook for $20, you can now pick up purchase forms in the office or the IT department.  You will be purchasing the device and charger "AS IS".  Chromebook cases are NOT included.  Please bring the signed purchase form and $20 payment to the front office, along with your cleaned out case.  Office staff will collect payment and the cleaned out Chromebook case.

Stop by the HHHS Guidance Office to pick up an application. The deadline is June 4, 2018. Cost is $30.00

JUNIOR boys are invited to attend Boys State, to be held this summer at Trine University in Angola, Indiana from June 17-23. Boys who are in the top 1/2 of their class are eligible to apply. It is paid for by the local American Legion. Boys State is a unique summertime educational program that is designed to mirror the structure and operation of the Indiana state government, while providing training in practical citizenship, leadership and character development. Some past attendees include Mitch Daniels, Richard Lugar, Astronaut Neil Armstrong, Bill Clinton, Newscaster Tom Brokaw and Michael Jordan. Students interested in government, history, political science, law enforcement or the military may be especially interested. It is a very prestigious program. The $300 fee is paid by a local organization. The Guidance Department at HHHS will be hosting an informational session for the Class of 2019 and their parents on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 6:30 p.m CST in the auditorium.“Senior Year 101” will provide important information for the Juniors as they prepare for their senior year and for life after high school. Regardless of a student’s plans after high school, this program has something for everyone. It is imperative that each student and a parent or guardian attend. Attendance prizes will be awarded and helpful materials provided. Ask a counselor if questions.
Any boy who is interested in trying out for the golf team needs to sign up in the office.
Students who have not yet completed the form that allows you to be published in the yearbook need to do so as soon as possible.  Parents need to fill out the online paperwork on their Harmony account.   If not your picture will not be in the yearbook.
