There will be a meeting for boys playing tennis next year on Thursday morning @ 7:30 in Mr. Oxley's room.

Students who have a question about their next year schedule need to contact their counselor THIS WEEK. Schedules will not be changed after we leave for summer!!!!!!!!!!

I.T. Department will be collecting Chromebooks on Thursday and Friday in the library. Students, when you no longer need your Chromebook for finals, please take your Chromebook, charger and case to the library to check them in for the summer.

Seniors, if you are purchasing your Chromebook you do NOT have to take your device to the library. Instead, turn your signed purchase form, Chromebook case and $20 in to Mrs. Smith in the front office.  Seniors, if you do not wish to purchase your Chromebook, you need to turn your device in to the library.

On the last day of school, the Indiana Army National Guard is hosting an awesome Summer Kick Off event.....this starts after the last final exam/locker clean out and lasts til bus departure or 3:30 for those who want to stick around after school. Food, Drinks, Prizes and activities will be held on the track!

All library books are now due.  Please return your books to the library as soon as possible.

Any individual planning on running high school cross country in the fall should meet in Mr. Denning's room on Thursday morning at 7:30.  If you cannot make it, stop by and see him before you leave for summer break.

Don't miss out!!  You are running out of time to buy your 2018-2019 HHHS yearbook.  Yearbooks will be sold up until the last day of school.  You can purchase your book online at jostens.com or give a check (made out to HHHS) or cash to Mrs. Gasaway.  The cost is $57.  If you are not sure if you already purchased a yearbook, let Mrs. Gasaway know & she can check the sales stats.  

Seniors!  Your immunization record is ready to be picked up in Mrs. Hawkin’s office.  ALL SENIORS NEED TO GET THEIRS!! 

The Girl Scouts are hosting several different camps in the summer for all age groups at Camp Koch in Cannelton. If interested stop by the front office and pick up a flyer.


The 2019 Miss Dale Fall Festival Scholarship Queen Pageant will be held on Sunday, September 1st.

Someone looking for a student to tutor in Geometry once a week.  If interested stop by the front office.

LEDC + Vincennes University = Spencer County Manufacturing Bootcamp    June 3 – June 14, 2019 

LEDC has partnered with Vincennes University to bring “Spencer County Manufacturing Bootcamp, 1st Steps to Success” free of charge to students interested in entering the manufacturing field. Designed for recently graduated high school seniors. Students will receive an OSHA 10, OSHA Forklift Certification, Quality, Safety, and effective communication skills to be successful in the workplace.  The deadline to sign up for the class is, Friday, May 17th, and only 20 seats are available. We are opening up the class to other counties, but Spencer County students will have first priority. Are you interested in law enforcement or the military? Consider attending the Indiana Youth Cadet Law Enforcement Academy this summer. A local American Legion may pay the fee. Health Careers Camp 2019 – July 24-25-26 - Memorial Hospital and Vincennes University

Are you interested in learning more about health careers?  Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center and Vincennes University Jasper Campus Heath Careers Camp is designed for you. This camp will provide high school students (sophomores, juniors, or seniors) with engaging activities, educational sessions and practical advice to further explore and pursue health care careers. This 3 day, 8:30am to 3:00pm, action-packed camp will give participants insight into college life and a variety of health care careers.  Application packets can be picked up in the HHHS Guidance Office.  Camp fee is $30. Registration is limited with deadline to apply being June 3.

Santa Claus Community Center-

The Santa Claus Community Center is looking for preferably a current sophomore or junior that has their driver's license to work for the Town of Santa Claus. This includes signing people up for gym memberships, cleaning gym equipment, and helping out with Yellig Park events. Pay is above minimum wage and 6-12 hours during a school week will be offered. Anderson Woods Summer Camp for 2019

Anderson Woods Summer Camp is now accepting applications for counselors and volunteers.  The camp is located in Perry County and runs throughout June and July. Spencer Industries is hiring Student Summer Helpers!  If you are 18 years of age or older and are enrolled in high school or post high school education for the Fall of 2019 semester, apply at our office in Dale (902 Buffaloville Rd) or apply on our Facebook page.
