Tropicana Evansville Project 21 Scholarship Program for 2019

Project 21 is an educational program designed to communicate the consequences associated with under aged gambling.  High school students, ages 17-21, may submit posters, essays, and/or videos/DVDs.  These mediums should specifically address the subject of deterring under aged gambling.  This is a scholarship program.  A $2,000 scholarship will be awarded. Stop by the HHHS Guidance Office for the rules and a copy of the 2019 application and guidelines.  Deadline to enter is April 5, 2019

American Society for Quality Scholarship – Evansville/Owensboro Section

Purpose:       To assist a student who plans to attend an accredited two or four-year college program or accredited Technical School             Amount of Award:           There will be a $500 award to the selected high school senior student.  The award will be paid directly to the college to be attended in the 2019-2020 academic year and applied to the recipient’s fee account.

Eligibility: 
Recipient must be a graduate during the application year from a home school, an accredited high school or learning facility within the geographic area served by ASQ Evansville-Owensboro Section 0915 or either of whose parents are members of the ASQ Evansville-Owensboro Section 0915.  The scholarship will be awarded to the person selected by the Selection Committee, independent of any connection with ASQ membership (you or your family member(s) do not have to be a member of ASQ to be awarded). To receive the scholarship amount, the recipient must be admitted to or enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student to an accredited college / university, with an established student account.

Life Spring Foundation of Indiana Scholarship for 2019

One scholarship will be awarded to each southern Indiana county including Spencer County.  You must have plans to go into primary care, mental health, or social service field.  Applications may be submitted online or in the mail: Go to http://www.lifespringhealthsystems.org/2019scholarshipapp/ or stop by the HHHS Guidance Office to pick up a blank application form and mailing instructions.  The deadline is April 5, 2019

This Scholarship/Leadership award is offered based on Faith, Leadership, and Educational Goals achieved during the student’s academic career. The requirements for this $500.00 scholarship are that the applicant and his/her family must be a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Applications are due by May 1st of the current year. The Bryan Gregory $500 Scholarship

Our scholarship is awarded based on the following criteria:

1. applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or better and have not failed any classes

2. applicant must have an attendance rate of 90%

3. applicant must be going into the Public Service Field (doctor, nurse, teacher, police office, etc.)

Elaine Daubenspeck Memorial Scholarship

We are seeking a student not necessarily based on academic excellence, but one who has a good moral character, strong work ethic, is friendly, responsible, trustworthy, and demonstrates a skill of creative writing. This scholarship is to encourage a Heritage Hills High School student to further his/her education at a 2 or 4 year college or university, or a vocational training school. Eligibility: 1.) submit 2-3 paragraphs, prose, or poem showcasing your creative writing skill; 2.) submit an essay to include information about yourself showing evidence of your moral character, strong effort, work ethic, and how receiving this scholarship will help you accomplish your goals.
