Pasta with a Purpose benefit dinner & silent auction for Susan Roos.  This will be held at Chrisney Elementary on Friday, January 17th at 4:30-7:00 pm.  Cost is $8 for adults and $6 for kids.  Donations can be made to Chrisney Elementary School with Mrs. Roos wrote in the memo line.


FCA is hosting Patriot Olympics during ECA next Tuesday in the red gym.  Get your FCA shirts to wear for $10 from Ms. White’s room or Mrs. Smith in the office. Hope to see you all there for Fun and Fellowship!

If you have any extra, gently-used PROM DRESSES that you would like to donate to Threads (the room housing many items/clothing that any Patriot may utilize if needed), please feel free to bring them to the home basketball game on Friday, January 31st. You may bring them to the entrance of Patriot Hall, and we will gladly take them off your hands so that others may be able to shine like you did while wearing them.


FFA Night Meeting is next week on Tuesday the 21st at Sky Zone with Cici's pizza afterward.  Please see details and sign up on Google Classroom.


FFA Ag Appreciation breakfast is Friday, January 24th starting at 6:30 am.  Please spread the word to anyone employed in the Agriculture field that you would invite to the Breakfast.


Homecoming dance tickets will go on sale next week during lunch.  Single tickets are $5, double are $8.  All tickets at the door will be $10.00


We will be having a locker decoration contest.  The theme is Egyptian but you can also decorate anything Patriot.  It must be school appropriate.  No stickers or double sided tape allowed.  You can use paper, painter tape, magnets, streamers.  There will be prizes awarded at the end of the week for each grade in the categories of most original and most spirit. 


We will also be awarding one boy and one girl a prize for the most spirit for dress up days.  If you have any other questions please see Mrs Tammy Brown, Mrs. Heneisen, or Mr. Mauck.

A representative from Western Kentucky University will be at HHHS on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 during 4th period, 10:55-11:43 in room #106.  Please sign up in the Guidance Office if you want to attend this meeting.

Junior Class - It’s that time of the year where Southern Indiana Power wants to select two students to attend the Indiana Electric Cooperative Youth Tour to Washington, D.C. The deadline to sign-up is February 10. It is an all-inclusive trip where Southern Indiana Power pays for the students to attend, to represent them in D.C. Attention Girls: 

The Young Women LEAD workshop will be March 11th, 2020 at Vincennes University Jasper Campus. This ia conference for high school girls focusing on Leadership, Education And Development. The program lasts a full day (7:30 CST - 1:30 CST) and has featured speakers. Topics covered include health and fitness, careers, social media, managing stress, and many others that are informative and inspiring. The event is free, and students receive a free lunch and t-shirt. Students can register at www.youngwomenlead.com. Students must ride the provided school bus. Girls with a grade of “F” in any class at the end of the 9 weeks will not be eligible to attend. More information to follow for those who register. See Mrs. Wilmes if questions.

Got scholarship?  FFA members should consider applying for a part of over TWO MILLION DOLLARS of scholarships to be awarded this year.  There is only a single application to apply you for it all.  Application deadline is January 23rd.
