The media center is open from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
To check out materials, students present them at the circulation desk with their
lunch number. Books, SIRS, and magazines circulate for two weeks. Fines of five cents a day
are charged for each overdue item. Reference books may be checked out overnight. Fines for reference books are fifty cents a day. The charge for a lost book or other materials is the replacement cost.
Poster boards and tri-folds may be purchased at the circulation desk. Note cards, pencils,
and other supplies, like markers, can be borrowed from and used in the library.
Each student must have on file in the school office a signed copy of the Internet Acceptable
Use Policy to make use of any networked computer in HHHS. Students are allowed to print using the computers in the library. Use of library computers to play games is prohibited.
Students using the media center are expected to work or read in a manner that shows consideration and respect for others who are reading or studying. Students must remain in
their work area until the bell rings.
