FFA Ag Appreciation breakfast is Friday, January 24th starting at 6:30 am.  Please spread the word to anyone employed in the Agriculture field that you would invite to the Breakfast.


Homecoming dance tickets will go on sale this week during lunch.  Single tickets are $5, double are $8.  All tickets at the door will be $10.00


We will be having a locker decoration contest.  The theme is Egyptian but you can also decorate anything Patriot.  It must be school appropriate.  No stickers or double sided tape allowed.  You can use paper, painter tape, magnets, streamers.  There will be prizes awarded at the end of the week for each grade in the categories of most original and most spirit. 

We will also be awarding one boy and one girl a prize for the most spirit for dress up days.  If you have any other questions please see Mrs Tammy Brown, Mrs. Heneisen, or Mr. Mauck.

SENIORS still needing to file the FAFSA? College Goal Sunday is a FREE statewide initiative that occurs annually to support Hoosiers in completing the FAFSA. The event will take place on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00pm local time with assistance being provided at 37 support sites positioned throughout the state. Attention Juniors and Seniors!
Mr. Wilkerson will be taking 14 students to tour Spencer Industries, Inc.  on Thursday, Feb 6th. We will leave school at 8:10 a.m. and will return around 11:30.  We will plan to eat lunch at Jenk's or Los Dos or Wendy's .  If you want to attend the tour, you will need to complete a form (signed by all of your classroom teachers).  Stop by the Guidance Office and see Ms. Knies to pick up the form.  Form is due to the Guidance Office by Friday, January 31st, 3:00 p.m.


Attention Juniors and Seniors!
Jacob Berg, from VUJC will be here Friday morning during read-in to speak to students who are interested in VUJC's CAP program or  Automation and Robotics Academy program.  Students who are interested should report to the auditorium on Friday at first bell.  The presentation will last through read-in.  See Mr. Wilkerson or Mrs. Wilmes if you have questions.


Attention JUNIORS: The Guidance Department at HHHS will be hosting an informational meeting for the Class of 2021 and their parents on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 6:00 p.m in the auditorium. “SENIOR YEAR 101” will cover vital senior year and post high school planning. Each Junior and a parent need to attend, as student transcripts and  scheduling information for the 2020-2021 school year will be discussed and distributed. In addition, current seniors will present information about off campus programs and opportunities. Please make this meeting a priority in preparing for the final year of high school! Contact Mrs. Wilmes in Guidance if questions kwilmes@nspencer.k12.in.us.

If you have any extra, gently-used PROM DRESSES that you would like to donate to Threads (the room housing many items/clothing that any Patriot may utilize if needed), please feel free to bring them to the home basketball game on Friday, January 31st. You may bring them to the entrance of Patriot Hall, and we will gladly take them off your hands so that others may be able to shine like you did while wearing them.

A representative from Western Kentucky University will be at HHHS on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 during 4th period, 10:55-11:43 in room #106.  Please sign up in the Guidance Office if you want to attend this meeting.

Emilee Ward, the representative from Brescia University, will visit Heritage Hills HS on Monday, January 27, 2020 during 3rd period 10:03-10:50am in Room 106.  Sign up in the Guidance Office if you want to attend this meeting.

Junior Class - It’s that time of the year where Southern Indiana Power wants to select two students to attend the Indiana Electric Cooperative Youth Tour to Washington, D.C. The deadline to sign-up is February 10. It is an all-inclusive trip where Southern Indiana Power pays for the students to attend, to represent them in D.C. Got scholarship?  FFA members should consider applying for a part of over TWO MILLION DOLLARS of scholarships to be awarded this year.  There is only a single application to apply you for it all.  Application deadline is January 23rd.
