IAG Scholarships – Indiana Association for the Gifted


IAEOP = Indiana Association of Educational Office Professionals, Inc.
IAEOP will present one $1000 scholarship to an Indiana graduating senior.  The scholarship is designed to assist a business or office-related career or vocation student wishing to pursue further education.  If interested, stop by the HHHS Guidance Office to pick up a copy of the eligibility requirements and application form.

Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust – Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship

We are accepting applications for our $2500 scholarship open to all Indiana seniors whose parent is battling breast cancer or who has lost a parent to breast cancer. Indiana Chapter of the APWA – American Public Works Association



The Indiana Commission for Higher Education is accepting applications for the 5th cohort
of the Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship. The scholarship provides 200
students up to $7,500 per year (renewable up to four years) in exchange for agreeing to
teach in Indiana for five consecutive years. Students interested in applying must: 

Be a current high school senior or college student in Indiana

Be in the top 20% of their class, or have a top 20% ACT/SAT score

Submit a completed application at ScholarTrack.IN.gov

Submit a 2021-2022 FAFSA

Applications opened on October 1, 2020 and will close at 11:59 pm ET on January 31, 2021.

Indiana Volunteer Firefighter’s Association and Ivy Tech Community College

IVFA has partnered with Ivy Tech to grant members an opportunity to earn an associate degree from our state’s community college, tuition-free. Ivy Tech has agreed to provide a scholarship for eligible degree-seeking students in qualified academic programs.  Some programs could result in students earning multiple credentials including certificates on their way to earning a two-year degree.

The Knights of Pythias of Indiana, a fraternal order founded in 1864, has long been active within Indiana High Schools by sponsoring public speaking and highway safety
poster contests on a local, regional, statewide and national level. We are continuing to show our interest in the youth of Indiana by, for the fourteenth consecutive year, offering a minimum of 12 scholarships in the amount of $1 ,000 to selected graduating high school seniors.

Next Generation Hoosier Educator Scholarship

The 2021-2022 application for the Next Generation Hoosier Educator Scholarship will be
available in ScholarTrack beginning October 1, 2020 and will close on January 31, 2021.
Following the deadline, the Commission will review all applications and notify all applicants
of their scholarship status via email by March 19, 2021.

The Kyle L. Harrop Memorial Scholarship – students going to Purdue University
2020 deadline is over

1.       Will be attending Purdue University, West Lafayette

2.       Participated in one of our academic competitions (Spell Bowl, Academic Super Bowl, Academic Decathlon, Quiz Bowl and/or Future Problem Solvers.)  Although all years of participation will be considered, a high level of involvement in academic programs throughout their high school career is not required, but preferred.   The HHHS Guidance Office has more information and copies of the application.

Our STEM scholarship committee is offering a $500 scholarship to students planning to attend school after high school in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics curriculum.

Selecting the blue $500 STEM Scholarship button will open the scholarship pdf that can then be downloaded.  Instructions for completion are included in the scholarship pdf.  I will add that my newest 2019 version of Adobe Acrobat Reader has a tool called Fill & Sign that allows for creation of an expandable text box anywhere on a pdf. If students don’t want to print the form, then write in answers by hand, and lastly scan it to send back to us, they can use this tool to easily fill in their downloaded form. 

Deadline for submission is Friday, April 3rd at 5 PM EST.

Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship
Provides up to $7,500 per year of college (up to $30,000 total) for top performing Hoosier
students who commit to teaching in Indiana for five years after earning their degrees.
The deadline to apply is January 31, 2021.
Earline S. Rogers Student Teaching Stipend for Minorities
Open to minority students (defined as Black and Hispanic individuals) who will participate
in student teaching or a school administration internship as part of their degree requirements.
Student Teaching Stipend for High-Need Fields
Available to students planning to teach Special Education or math at either the middle or
high school level. Eligible students can receive up to $4,000 per stipend, or $8,000
if awarded both.
