Betty R Michel Memorial Scholarship 2024

A one-time $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a HHHS senior attending
post-secondary educational institutions after graduating high school.
The winner will be announced in May of each year at senior awards night.
Selection will be based upon several criteria:
completion of the electronic application via google with attention to
submission of grammatically correct entries,
evidence of need for financial assistance, and
report of student's character and work ethic from the submission of
two letters of recommendation.
Application must be submitted by midnight on April 6, 2024.

Cornelius R Collignon Family Scholarship - deadline June 10, 2023
Open to HHHS graduates attending college as a sophomore, junior, or senior
and majoring in agriculture or forestry or aviation.
A preference will be given to agriculture.
If insufficient number of college students apply,
the scholarship will be made available to current graduating seniors of HHHS.

Many of our donors have honored their loved ones, communities, high schools, colleges, or professions by endowing scholarship opportunities through the Foundation.  We administer separate scholarship funds established by individuals, families, corporations, and organizations to assist local students in pursuit of advanced education.  Together, these scholarships make up our Community Scholarship Program.

Evansville-Owensboro ASQ Section 0915 - 2024 scholarship

The American Society for Quality (ASQ) Evansville-Owensboro Section 0915 is pleased to announce that we will once again offer a $500 scholarship to a high school senior graduating from a high school in our section area. Click here for guidelines.

Ferdinand Post 124 American Legion Scholarship
Open to a senior who is a child or grandchild of any Ferdinand Post 124 member, Sons of Legion member, or Auxiliary member.  This scholarship can be used for any four-year college, trade school, or a community college to obtain an associate degree. This application must be returned to the Ferdinand Legion Post.

We are pleased to continue our scholarship program established in 2004. 
Two $1000 scholarships will be awarded to eligible high school seniors who are
in treatment or have been in treatment with Gill-Wedding Orthodontics.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be of Hispanic heritage

U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA 

Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students.

Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the US, for the 2022-2023 academic year.

INDOT seeks applicants for Engineering Scholarship Program
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is seeking applicants for its Engineering Scholarship Program, available for undergraduate and graduate students.
Recipients receive financial assistance, as well as opportunities for paid employment
during summer breaks and upon graduation.
Students must be accepted or enrolled full-time
in one of Indiana’s accredited Civil Engineering schools. The program must also be certified
by Indiana’s Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Eligible
universities with ABET-certified Civil Engineering programs include Purdue University,
Purdue University Fort Wayne, Purdue University Northwest, Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology, Trine University, University of Evansville, University of Notre Dame, University
of Southern Indiana, Indiana State University and Valparaiso University.
INDOT’s scholarship program offers $3,125 per semester or $2,083 per trimester for up to five years of
post-secondary Civil Engineering education. Scholarship funds may be applied to
educational expenses, fees, and books. In return, recipients have the opportunity to work at
INDOT in full-time, paid positions during summer breaks and upon graduation.

James Stott Engineering Scholarship - 2024

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS OF ECS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS

  • Possess a 3.3. cumulative GPA from high school
  • Plan to enroll in either electrical engineering, electrical technology, computer engineering, or computer technology immediately upon high school graduation
  • Must be a permanent resident of Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh or Warrick County in Indiana or Warren County in Kentucky

APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING BY FRIDAY, MARCH 1, 2024

  • One letter of academic recommendation from a teacher or academic advisor

LifeSpring  Foundation of Indiana - 2024 scholarship

Each year the LifeSpring Foundation of Indiana awards scholarships to 8th graders and high school Seniors planning on going into the healthcare field. To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must be in LifeSpring Health System's service area of Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Orange, Perry, Scott, Spencer, and Washington Counties in Indiana.

One $100 scholarship will be awarded to one 8th grade student per county and one $500 scholarship will be awarded to one high school senior per county. To apply each student must complete and submit an application with an essay including outlining their plans to study in the primary care, mental health,

or social service field.
