Allison Tenbarge Criminal Justice Scholarship - deadline March 31, 2020
The Community Foundation Alliance opened up a new scholarship opportunity for students in the Community Foundation Alliance’s nine counties (Daviess, Gibson, Knox, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh, Warrick.)  The Allison Tenbarge Criminal Justice Scholarship will provide $500 to support a female student pursuing post-secondary education in criminal justice or law enforcement.  The application deadline is March 31st.  Students can access the application by logging back into their Community Foundation Scholarship account.

Memorial Hospital Foundation Scholarships

Five scholarships will be awarded to residents of the Memorial Hospital service area, one specifically in Daviess, Dubois, Martin, Pike, and Spencer Counties.  These are for students who attended high school in these counties and are enrolled, or plan to enroll in post-high school programs leading to a degree in health career field

(M.D., pharmacist, radiology technologist, rehabilitation therapist, etc.)  The desired outcome is for the recipients to return to southern Indiana to practice after graduation.

Amount awarded:  $1000 each.

Awarded: up to $1500.00 each.

Tropicana Evansville Project 21 Scholarship Program for 2020

Project 21 is designed to communicate the consequences associated with under aged gambling. Students (ages 17-21) may submit posters, essays, and/or videos or DVDs for consideration to earn three $2000 scholarships awards.  Deadline is April 3, 2020

Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union – Ted Hitch Scholarship

This scholarship is named in honor of the credit union’s past president.  Ten nonrenewable $5000 scholarships will be awarded annually.   Stop by the Guidance Office to pick up an application or go to the website www.etfcu.org/scholarship

Gill Orthodontics Scholarship - $1000 - deadline is over
Dr. James R. Gill is offering two $1000 scholarships to eligible high school seniors who are in treatment or have completed treatment with Gill Orthodontics. Deadline is March 13, 2020.

Hoosier Hills Credit Union Scholarship - $500

1) This scholarship is established to recognize a son or daughter of a Hoosier Hills Credit Union member in good standing with the Credit Union.  The amount of the scholarship will be $500. 

2) The recipient of the Hoosier Hills Credit Union Scholarship must show evidence of being in the upper third of the graduating class.  He/she must have participated in school functions, activities or clubs, and or community service activities during his/her high school enrollment. 

3) The recipient must complete an application, plan to enroll as a full-time student in an approved college, and be recommended by the school's Scholarship Selection Committee.

This application must be submitted to the HHHS guidance office by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2020.  Read your email or stop by the HHHS Guidance Office to pick up an application.

Kimball International-Habig Foundation - Kimball Scholarship Program

The foundation awards college scholarships to high school seniors who are children or dependents of full-time employees. Recipients are chosen based on academic achievement and financial need.

To be eligible for this award, you must:

be a graduating high school senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

be a dependent* child of a full-time employee of MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc. at the time the scholarship is awarded.

be accepted and entering your first year at a college, university, technical or trade school.

be an American or Canadian citizen.

Evansville Home Economists Scholarships

Each year the Evansville Home Economists present 1-2 scholarships to outstanding senior students from area schools that plan to pursue a career in a field of Home Economics/Family and Consumer Science (FACS). This year we will award one to a student pursuing a four-year bachelor's degree and/or one to a student pursuing a two-year associate degree. Each award recipient will receive $250 per year, for a total of $1000 for the four-year program, and $500 for the two-year program, providing the student continues his/her study in the field of Home Economics/FACS and maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.  Please keep in mind that this field is very broad and includes areas such as: retailing, interior design, child development/early childhood education: grades preschool-2nd grade (but not elementary education, grades 3-8), dietetics, food science, etc. A strong background in college preparatory courses, including advanced math and science is suggested; however, the student does not have to have taken any FACS classes.  deadline:  March 21, 2020
